Courtyard Miami Airport West Doral Hotel, Miami

I found the hotel to be a mixed experience. The rooms were fresh and clean after being remodeled, but there was a lingering odd odor, somewhat typical for tropical areas. The service was a hit or miss - while some staff members were very friendly and accommodating, others lacked the patience and professionalism I expected. The location was reasonable but not very close to activities. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with some exceptional offerings but also some disappointing aspects. The facilities were decent overall, but could use modernization.

The service was very helpful and happy to be there, despite an issue with my reservation. The location is quiet relative to other airport hotels, near the airport but under the airplane landing path.
